E-Solar City Buses Successfully Operating in European Cities

Our E-Solar city buses have become a fixture: They’re already in service today in cities such as Stockholm, Cologne, Kapfenberg, and Koper—reliable, accessible, and emission-free.

In 2017, we developed the E-Solar City, a new class of electric buses—compact, accessible, and with a range of up to 160 kilometers. The first deliveries began in 2018, and the vehicles have since become a common sight in everyday life across Europe.

Whether in city traffic, as a community shuttle, or in smaller towns—the E-Solar City proves that electric mobility works even in compact vehicle classes. The combination of ease of use (Class B driver’s license) and suitability for everyday use is particularly appreciated.

We are pleased that companies such as Bergvarabus, Postbus, and MVG are using our buses—and are thus sending a clear message in support of sustainable mobility.
